Sorry this is not sewing, but I don't know where to post all the fun crafts I find. There isn't a craft section is there?

Anyhoo, this is really cute. I want to make this too.

Wow! I love that calendar. Thanks for posting it.

We made the cutest Christmas Countdown calendars for our Enrichment Night last month. I wish I knew how to put a picture in the message I would give it to you. If you'd like a pic I can e-mail it to you. They were soooo cute! She had them on a square piece of painted wood that she drilled the bag and put in a peg so it would stand upright.

**Ok I did some searching and I think I've figured out the picture thing. Thanks LazyBear for the photobucket instructions you posted!! (I hope the picture isn't too big---Thanks for the help to resize pictures!!!)***

That is really cute!

Is it a block of wood? Then you covered it in scrapbook paper?

Yes! She had a peg that was inserted into the back to make it stand upright. It's so cute I keep biding the days til I can get it out. I think the longest it can go is 29 days til Christmas. Are we there yet?

This pic is actually the demo she provided but I think the actual one we did was even cuter (the paper was from last year so she had to find different paper). If you're interested I could try to take a pic of mine and post it as well....I'm kind of picture-posting-crazy now that I've figured out how to do it!!!

Ok, here is a picture of the finished product. (BeckySaves I KNEW you would love how I made it best......) I took a picture from the back too so you could see how it is set up. If anything I would use a little thinner of wood so you can get the circle hooks into it more easily.

OMG!! I LOVE the calendar in OP.
The advent ones too!
nissen - a photobucket tip....go back to your pics and "resize" them. I usually choose the "medium" option. That's usually big enough to see details without stretching out the screen.
After you resize just copy and paste the code again.
HTH!

Thanks so much for your help. For some reason when I sized the second pic to medium it kept on showing up large in the message. So I went to small because I didn't know what else to do--but it seems to work! Thanks for the tip. This is my first time posting pics!
