My latest project

I decided that I wanted to have a super cute diaper bag for this baby girl (less than 6 weeks! Yay!). But, I didn't want to spend a ton, so I made one. Then I made the matching changing pad and covered wipes case. :) I love how they turned out.

No, I bought a pattern. So much easier on my pregnant brain that way. :) But, I did use fusible fleece instead of a basic interfacing on it so that it looked a little better IMO. It reminds me of Petunia Pickle diaper bags which sell for $150 or so. :) It makes me happy to look at it. LOL

How did you sew on the vinyl on the changing pad? (Assuming it's not laminated cotton or something...)

Sorry, I just saw your question dabairs. I just sewed the clear vinyl the same as any other material. You can buy it by the yard in the home dec fabric area. It worked out great. :)
