I'm trying to figure out why my photos print so dark. The last set I printed was considerably darker than the ones I took. Does anyone know how I can fix that?

I have a HP Photosmart printer, so this info might not apply to yours.
is your printer set for BEST Quality, NORMAL or DRAFT?
Do a right click on your printer icon in the bottom tool bar.
Look for these settings in Set Up.
Best Quality puts more ink on the paper, at times it's too much.
Normal Quality is the setting you will use for most photos
Draft Quality doesn't put much color on the paper (use this for coupons)
there's also a setting on most printers for Ink Volume and Dry Time.
a sliding scale lets you adjust the amount of ink you use.
the more ink, the longer drying time.
If your paper is wrinkling, then you are saturating the paper too much and need to adjust the amount of ink released.

Okay that's good to know. I have an HP All in one thing- I'll switch it from best quality to normal. Thanks LB!
