What interfacing to use on a T-shirt quilt

Just wondering if anyone has any prior experience with making a t-shirt quilt. I am looking to find the best type, weight of interfacing to use to stabilize the shirts so that they won't stretch out of shape when they are sewn. Any help, information is greatly appreciated. TIA

My sister has made a couple of these over the years. I asked her and she said that she doesn't use any interfacing at all. Her quilts look great and have held up really well.

You could use fusible knitted interfacing or plain lightweight muslin, but as Jona said, I don't think I would bother. Since you don't interface t-shirts or anything else sewn with cotton jersey, I wouldn't worry about it.
