We sent ours in a couple weeks ago. Refunds headed our way!

We have our refund. Thanks to pyp we went to the IRS site & followed the links to file electronically for free. Our refund is in savings to use to pay our state taxes. :-(

The good news is that even after paying the state, we come out ahead by about $50. :-) Dawn

We got our refund at the beginning of February and used it to pay off the balance on our credit card and put the rest in savings!!! Because the credit card got paid off we saved up enough in the last month to go on a cruise next month!!!!! :hello1: :hello1: :hello1: :biggrin:

we got our refund this week in our checking account and found out we were denied EIC for our kids. when i read again what's new for 2004, i found out they change the rules so it disqualified us saying our gross income was way too high. well, we got credit for 2003 returns but that changed for 2004, only those married filing jointly should have earned just about $35K to qualify.

Aww sorry Dori! Did you already file and you're just waiting to pay? That stinks. We had to pay state taxes the year we moved to Delaware. I HATED writing that check! And my mom had to pay BIG one year. She put it on a zero interest card and paid it off over time.
