How to Add a Photo or Webpage Link to your thread
If you want to attach a photo link to this thread- follow directions below.
1. Your digital photo must be uploaded to a webpage like the Photobucket.com album pages are. (you can use other websites to upload to.
Hp.com - Kodak.com - or the website for your brand of camera)
2. When the photo webpage opens, do a right click with your mouse on the http://www Address at the top of the webpage under the green Back button.
3. When the right click button is pressed, a little window opens up asking what you want to do - Cut- Copy- Delete. Left click on the word Copy.
This will save the address to a clipboard on your computer.
4. Open your PYP thread and Reply to it to open the message window so you can insert your saved address into it. You can also use the Edit feature.
5. At the top of the message area (white box) you will see a little blue Earth icon (under the box location). Click on the Earth icon to open the link to add your address.
6. When the window opens, it will say: Script Prompt
7. Enter the word LINK into the white box. You can enter any words you want after you learn how to use this feature.
8. Click OK and when the next box opens it will ask you for the URL web page address. It will also have the http:// highlighted. Before you do anything else, push the delete button on your keyboard to remove the highlighted http://
9. In that same window, move your mouse into that location and do a right click. This will open a window that asks you if you want to Paste. Left click the word Paste. This will paste the address that you saved to the clipboard containing the location of where to find your photograph on the Internet. Click OK.
You have successfully entered the LINK to your photo.
NOTE:
You will notice a bunch of new lettering added to the written words that you have typed in your Reply letter. Do not delete them!!!! They are necessary to keep the LINK in working order.
[COLOR=Sienna]You can use the same instructions to add any webpage URL to any thread on PYP. It doesn't have to be just photos, it can be ANY web address, even one for your Wishlist or another thread.
