printables for party

So i see all these blogs with all the awesome custom printables they use to label food bottels candy and what not.
When i looked online, i see sellers providing the pdf for printables but what i don't understand how to print them and cut them in those cute shapes?
if i print them at home won't it kill my printer ink ??
so is there a cheaper place i can buy some paper labels i can use for bottels and food labels?

Well I would say it might be something that you can purchase a punch to just punch them out or you will have to do them one or two at a time with sissors.
