Need gift ideas for 4th baby

I've been invited to a baby shower for a friend having her 4th baby. She has both genders already, so she doesn't really need clothes or baby gear. The shower is mostly just a get-together to share friendship and support and celebrate this friend and her soon-to-arrive baby. I would like to take some kind of gift, though. I know I can always do diapers/wipes, but I would like to be a bit more creative.

I was thinking of making freezer meals, or something along those lines that could be a help to her and her family. Would that be a strange shower gift, though? I was trying to come up with a "meal kit" that would be shelf-stable, but couldn't really think of anything. Would it be too awkward to bring something that is frozen?

I also thought of making some mixes, like muffin mix or pancake mix, that could make for quick and easy breakfasts when her baby arrives. I have a good pancake mix recipe, but does anyone have a homemade muffin mix recipe? Or should I just bake and freeze a few dozen muffins and take those?

I think your idea is great. I have 5 kids and I love meal help. Freezer meals are good because they taste good! I bet she would love it.

But are you sure she doesn't need clothes? Or diapers or something? I have 5 girls and my clothes didn't really last until the 3rd. Some did, but I didnt' really get any baby gifts for her and I really could have used some new clothes for her. She was a completely different season than the other ones so I had no summer newborn clothes. And of course there was a 6 year gap until the other 2 and all those clothes I packed away thinking that they would be in great condition for the new ones? Well I had no idea that baby styles actually change and the clothes at DI were much better looking than the ones I packed away so carefully.

We moved after my 3rd and before the 4th and 5th and in my neighborhood people give baby gifts and I was really grateful for cute new outfits for them.

I went to a GREAT shower for a 4th once, for a friend, and we all did a freezer meal for her. It was so, so appreciated!

I totally see your point, but in this case, my friend specifically said she didn't need clothes. Her oldest two are boys, and her third is a girl. This fourth is a girl also. So her girl clothes are pretty recent and not worn out.

Diapers!! I know they are not very exciting, but with a baby you can always use diapers.

I am having a baby in a couple of months so I have a few freezer meals I am making. I am doing lasagna, chicken pot pie, tater tot casserole and mexican casserole. If you want the recipes I would be more than happy to share.
