Associated Food stores in Utah have caselot sales during the Spring and Fall.
They also offer bulk wheat, rice, oats and other items for foodstorage.
Their ads show plastic storage containers that you can dump the bags of grain into.
I noticed that some of those products are Honeyville Grain brand.

No, you don't find a 50 lb bag at a farmer's market, but you might find a farmer who can bring one to the next one. Next time you go to the farmer's market ask a farmer if they sell grain in bulk.

Another idea is to ask your local health food store (that carries grains) who they buy from. Tell them you want it in bulk. Sometimes they can order bulk for you or they can give you the name of their supplier. Generally their supplier is local.

Have you heard of Azure Standard? I just read that they're expanding their delivery routes to Indiana starting in January, and they have great bulk items.

Here's more info on what Azure Standard is if you're interested:

There's also The Ready Store - good quality and lot's of good specials
and Shelf Reliance - Also good quality, but much better pricing through a consultant, and the only place to find the Food Rotation Shelving besides FIFO at $550! Shelf Reliance has it for closer to $269 and it looks like it's a better shelving unit!
