Default Printing problems - Post here if you have a question or need help

Keep in mind most printing problems have to do with the settings on your computer, your firewall, etc. Others may not be able to help you with those.

For problems with printing smartsource (Group B) coupons, try some of these suggestions: Troubleshooting

Has anyone ever found a way to have your color/blk printer print off the internet coupons in blk&wht. When I am manually printing off things that are colored that I want in blk I know how to switch that up, but for ex. the bettycrocker coupons will just print out as soon as you press the print button and there is no switching time. Is there a trick or is that just the way it is? THanks!

This is how it works for me - go to start, printer and faxes, right click on your printer and go to printing preferences, the color tab and then check the print in grayscale box. HTH

I've never had so many problems with SmartSource before. I'm stumped!

I've posted some stuff I've tried on this thread.

Do you do this before or after you choose out your IP coupons?

Has anyone figured out how to print just the coupon with out the giant advertisement printing with it. It's a huge waste of paper. Every coupon I print, prints an an under it so I am using up a full sheet of paper and ink for every coupon.

Yes! This is happening to me and then when I go back into the site it tells me that I have already printed the max. # of times! My husband is pretty good at troubleshooting and he doesn't know what to do either. I'll let you know if we figure it out.

Default scanning coupons

I am able to print my coupons just fine and recently just refilled my ink cartridge but not one of my coupons will scan at the store. They wouldn't scan before i refilled my cartridge and they still won't scan with a filled cartridge. Any suggestion why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

It's working for me now with no problem. Maybe it was something to do with the coupon site. So, if you were having this problem try again. However, it is still saying that I have already printed the coupons that I tried to print when I got the error page.

Sometimes when you re-fill your cartridge several times, the cartridge needs to be cleaned. On mine it is a little copper looking strip and I just use a q-tip with a little bit of rubbing alcahol on it. Maybe that would work for you and it would get a clearer print job.?
