Default Morning Moo-Killer Price @ Costco

Costco has Morning Moo for $54.98 for a 6 gallon bucket (It's 37 lbs and makes 50 gallons when mixed as a 2% milk)
This is only $1.48 a pound.
Regular price is $119/50 lb bag ($2.38/lb)
The best I've seen it is $89/50 lb bag ($1.78/lb)
It is already in a 6 gallon bucket (cute cow print, nonetheless!) and is awesome for food storage. If you are unfamiliar with morning moo, it tastes MUCH better than powdered milk. My sis in Grantsville (yea! Tracy Beckett!) buys Morning Moo and uses it in all her cooking when it calls for milk, because it is much cheaper than regular milk.

We found this at the Boise Costco, but I would call whichever one you live by and see if they have the same deal. Here are some of the other food storage deals that they have currently.
25lb. Flour 7.99 *** .32/lb.
50lb Flour 13.69 **** .27/lb. (Current LDS Cannery price is .36/lb)
25lb Sugar 12.39 .50/lb. (Cannery price .56lb
45lb. Wheat in bucket 22.79 .50/lb. ( Cannery price is .24/lb for red, and 30/lb for white)
50 lb. Calrose Rice 27.70 .56/lb
25 lb Pinto beans 14.89 .60/lb. (Cannery price is .68/lb)
37lb Morning Moo milk in bucket 54.99 1.49/lb (FANTASTIC DEAL!)
54 oz. Potato pearls 1.98/lb. (Cannery price $1.90/lb WHEN they have them)
40 lbs. Honey in bucket 69.99 $1.75 lb--I THINK this is EXCELLENT...
Hope this helps! If you know how good of a deal other items are (or are not), please comment!

I'm wondering what the expiration on a bucket? Does it only last so long after you open it? TIA

Yes, and thank you for posting the cannery price. That is always the first thing I wonder about.

Default Costco

I was in Costco (So. Ogden) this Saturday and noticed they had Morning Moos. I didn't have enough time to compare prices, so, thanks so much for posting your research. I'm heading back down there today!

Has anyone noticed this at the Utah Costcos? Is it instant or regular milk?

The expiration on the buckets I bought is March of 2012. Yea! That's pretty good. I would think that is the expiration whether it is opened or not, I couldn't see anything that said different.

Costco now has chocolate Morning Moo Milk also! It is $57 and still is 37 lbs, but it makes considerably less than the plain milk for $54. 800++ servings milk vs 500++

Thank you very much for starting this thread! I had never tried Morning Moo milk before but I had heard it was good. Well, we bought some because of this thread and we all LOVE it! My husband thinks its even better than the store stuff. I love that I can have a years supply of milk and not worry about going to the store all the time to buy it. The chocolate is awesome too! I am actually going to buy honey tomorrow...so thank you for the information!
