Default J & J Pumpkin Patch Hayride and Free Pumpkins

J & J Nursery in Layton will be offering their free hayrides and pumpkins this year again. You can pick up a ticket at the store right now. The event will take place for the first 3 Saturdays in October. They are asking for canned food in exchange for the pumpkins. We have loved doing this each year as a family and my kids have been asking for 2 weeks when we get to go.

You don't have to pay for the hayride or anything?

I didn't know their rides and pumpkins were free....no wonder the line is always so long! We usually go to Day Farms and I wondered what made the J&J hayride so much better that so many more people would go to it!

Nope and you get to choose a pumpkin too. Last year they limited to 1 per family because of an early frost. This year the gal' said that everyone will get to choose a free pumpkin. Just remember to bring a can of food for each person.

We actually went here today. The kids loved it and there were hardly any other people. We didn't wait in line and rode on the wagon with only one family. There were no people in line after us. It was great fun and FREE!

Default Is a ticket required?

Do you really need a ticket? It seems like the last few years they have not required them but maybe it has changed. Our kids love this event too because they can pick their own out of the millions there. Anyway let me know if they ask for a ticket or not.
