Default Good Price for Strawberries

Hi! I am new to this whole canning world and am thinking I might want to do some strawberry jam/jelly but I don't know what is considered a good price for strawberries. Can anyone help me with that?

If you have Costco near you they had 4 lb clamshells of strawberries for $5.49. That is a good price. If you can get them between $.98 and $1.25 a pound that is a fabulous deal. Good luck with your jam!

Thanks so much TMB770! They are on sale now for $.99 so I'm off to the store. Thanks again!
