Default Fair/Honest/Cheap Vet in Tucson

Hi everyone. I am hoping someone can recommend a vet for our dog. We used to have the wellness plans through banfield, but they do seem to push extra tests and products. Anyway one of dogs has a huge, swollen joint and we need to get it checked.
Thanks

Sorry, don't have an answer for you. Just wanted to *bump* your post.

Check this site for a location near you. I know that they have coupon links (right side of page) for free first visit for new clients. This may not cover any tests you need, but you can at least have the vet look over your dog and then go from there.

Editing to add: You prob. already know this, but don't give any OTC pain relief/anti-inflammatory meds to dogs/cats (ibuprophen, tylenol, etc.)

I just saw your request today. I hope your dog is doing better. I use Cortaro Farms Pet hospital. The Best vets there are Dr Robertson and Dr Tye. ( I always try to get one of them) They are very reliable they usually don't require a bunch of test and go by intuition.

Thanks Looann. I did look up the place you listed. We are still debating on what to do. He is compensating well, but I don't like it. However I also don't know what to do with a several hundred dollar vet bill... which always seems to be the case.

Thanks Maxpuppy,

I will call and see what they charge for just a visit... I would love to hear just what they think is happening, its better than me guessing!
