Default CVS FAQ's

Here are some questions and answers. Please post here if you have any other questions or I've left out any necessary information.

What are Extra Care Bucks (ECB’s)?

-ECB’s are Extra Care Bucks you earn when you purchase participating items. The participating items will be in the weekly or monthly ads as well as on signs in the store. You will see these ECB's listed in the CVS weekly list here on PYP.

What can I buy with ECB’s?
-You can buy anything in store excluding prescriptions, alcohol, tobacco, stamps, lottery tickets, gift cards, money orders and pre paid debit cards.

Does CVS accept manufacturer coupons?

- Yes

Does CVS accept internet printed coupons?

-Yes (although we all know this could change at any time and may vary from store to store.)

Can I use 2 coupons on a buy one, get one free promotion?
- Yes (although this may vary from store to store.)

What are CRT’s?

-CRT’s are the coupons that print out on the bottom of your receipt.

Can I use both a CVS CRT coupon and a manufacturer coupon together?

-Yes

If my Extra Care Bucks expire, can I have them reset?

-No, they no longer do this.

What Are ExtraCare Rewards?

· Rewards are called Extra Bucks® that you can earn at any CVS/pharmacy store or online at CVS.com when you use your ExtraCare card.
How Do I Earn Extra Buck$ Rewards?
· Earn 2% back with every purchase in-store and online at CVS.com.
· Earn 1 Extra Buck for every 2 prescriptions purchased in-store and online at CVS.com.

How Do I Get My Extra Buck$ Rewards?

· Every 3 months your Extra Bucks will print on your store register receipt, or visit CVS.com to print your Extra Bucks.
Spend your Extra Bucks at any CVS/pharmacy or online at CVS.com the next time you shop!

If I get an email that says "Double Extra Bucks" or "Triple Extra Bucks", what does that mean?
-This means that instead of getting 2% back on your purchases, you will receive 4% or 6%. This does not mean you will receive Triple ECB's when you purchase participating products.

What is the CVS Phone Number?

1-800-SHOP-CVS

Are the monthly ad ECB good all month long or is it just an ad telling you what is coming for the month? I haven't shopped there much since they started the monthly ad. Thank you in advance.

I haven't seen this monthly ad. Are they supposed to have it in the paper? Are you supposed to be able to pick it up at the front of the store with the weekly ad? Where are you getting this???

I wish it were on line at CVS like their weekly ads.
The monthly ads do last all month.

I don't know if online shopping generates ECB's but when instore they generate at the register when you make your qualified purchase,ex: I bought the Garnier shampoo today for $3.99 and it was advertised as buy for $3.99 get $3.99 ECB so when I paid for my purchase and she gave me my reciept at the bottom of my reciept I had the $3.99 for the Garnier shampoo.HTH

If I used a coupon for Garnier, would it still print the $3.99 ECB?
