Default Lagoon deal/5 FREE season passes + get paid to work for 11 days in May

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but here goes.

Lagoon has a killer opportunity for Davis County (or other nearby folks). There are 11 days during the week (when HS and Jr. HS visit the park) and teenage staff are NOT available to assist the regular food/merchandise venues as they area still in school in the month of May.

These days are known as school days. Anyhow, Lagoon gets local SAHMs, and other local folks to come and cover shifts to help the park function. This year, there will be 11 days in May, like 3 days the 2nd week, 3 days the 3rd week and 4 days the 4th week of May that one works to get the following benefits:

For working the 11 days, your receive,

$7.50/hr wage +++

1 1/2 vouchers for each day work (vouchers get you into Lagoon for $10/ea)
IF you work all 11 days you receive 10 BONUS vouchers for total of 27 total

OR

work all 11 days you can get 5 season passes!!!

I did this last year, the work is easy, you make $, have fun and get cheap entertainment for your family for the rest of the summer.

IF this is something you are interested in, please PM me. And I might be able to get you to join me in the area I work so we could get to know one another.

TIA!

(MODS, move if necessary!)

Lagoon needs LOTS of people to make the park function during this time. So if you can work, usually you DO work.

What's funny is the concession stand stuff isn't hard and it is a hoot to work w/friends and notice what areas of the state (or ID, NV or WY) students are from. Attitudes, attire and how $ is handled is really diversified by regions.

Basically, you are asked to work 9-5, but many days, except Friday, you may go home as early as 3 PM. Just depends on which concession stand/area of the park you work in.

Luvtosave, FF99 you both have PM's.

Does anyone want to work a deal I can watch kids I am not able to do it myself wish I could but I already baby sit and have 2 of my own so it would not be an option for me but I am more then able to babysit for someone(s). I have been doing daycare for almost 5 years so I know what I am doing and my kids would love the company. I live in Roy.

Perhaps you could work out a deal that I did last year. (Season Passes were NOT an option then), but I found someone to watch my then 4 y.o. for school days (it was 12 days last year), and in exchange I gave her 5 of the $10 vouchers. It was a win/win situation.

BTW, I totally admire to babysit full time. You have the patience of a SAINT!

What crummy timing! We are planning to buy season passes for our family this year so I'd LOVE to do this and save ourselves a ton of money. But I'll be 32-34 weeks pregnant by then. <sigh> Guess that probably wouldn't fly, would it? lol Hopefully they'll offer this next year too.

If you work all 11 days and get the season passes, do you also still get the hourly wage? The hourly wage probably wouldn't cover much more than gas and babysitting, so I would need both to make it fly.
