Default Where to start

I am a new stay at home mom and a new PYP member. What are the best sources from finding coupons? I get the SmartSource and the Red Plum in the mail with all the major stores weekly specials. Should I get the Sunday paper too? I just need helping getting on the right path. TIA

Yeah Welcome to PYP!!!!

The Sunday paper is a great way to start collecting the coupons. I get 4 Sunday papers - I have 4 people in my family. You can get multiple subscriptions of the Tribune, Deseret News or the Standard Examiner. 4 is usually enough coupons for me - but there always seems to be something that I want more of and for that I visit http://www.pinchingyourpennies.com/f...splay.php?f=17. This is the Trading Post where we can trade coupons with other members.

This is the best option for you:

Standard Examiner--as low as .81 per copy!

For those living between North Salt Lake and Malad (excludes Cache Valley)

$18.99 for one paper everyday and 5 complete papers on Sunday

$15.49 for one paper everyday and 3 complete papers on Sunday

$17.50 for 5 complete papers on Sunday only

Call: Mike Eames of the Standard-Examiner at 801-625-4415 and ask for the PYP coupon special.

If you already get the newspaper you can upgrade your subscription. I do recommend getting extra papers. The more coupons you have, the more you can stock up and save.

Let us know if you have any more questions!

Welcome to PYP!

I don't subscribe to a newspaper, but I do ask my friends and relatives to save their papers for me to recycle.

Some PYPers ask their neighbors, co-workers and church members too!

You can use the Trading forum on PYP to unload the coupons you don't use. Wishlists / Tradelists

Thanks to everyone who replied. Should I get subscriptions to all the different papers or do they all have the same coupons? Meaning if I just get the Standard Examiner will I be missing out on good deals from the Tribune and Deseret News?

There are 2 or 3 coupons per year that the Trib/Des. News gets that the other newspapers don't. The Standard-Examiner package is much cheaper, so it's worth the sacrifice of 2 or 3 coupons to save money on the subscription.
