I'm laughing so hard I'm crying over the regifted Sees and the chocolate covered hot dogs! I hope I get the opportunity to try that this year. If not I'm saving the chocolate hotdog idea for April Fool's Day.

One of our best received gifts was a do rag. And the year my very shy FIL got tampons.

Any new ideas? My dd(16) has a WE party for her high school volleyball team on Wednesday.

This thread is AWESOME!
We have a Family Christmas Party this weekend and I need ideas too, please.

We have so much toothpaste, toothbrushes, body soaps & razors, I'm hoping to come up with some ideas using those items.

(I love the buttpaste & luckily I bought some when Rite aid had them free ..so one down 3 to go) ..please keep the ideas coming!

Thanks for the laughs everyone!

Several years ago I found a stuffed white elephant at a thrift store; it was the hit of the party.

my son just told me to give a half used roll of duct tape.

he also came up with the idea to put a potatoe and a shaving razor in a box with a recipe to make fries

For one of our gifts, I decided to put toothpaste in a thin mints container and put starlight mints in the thin mint box

I would love to pass on a white elephant gift I gave to my DH. It is a glass door with a mountain scene with a buck on it. My BIL works for a door manufacturer in SLC and they were discontinuing this model so we got the sample from him. It's just so huge, with this big deer on it that we thought it was hysterical gift for my hunter DH. It is actually a very nice door- but it doesn't fit any of the doors in my house. So, it's stood in it's stand in my family room for a while now. It you come get it- it's yours. I'm in NE Lehi.

Last year I had my DH take a "rare matching set of redneck cereal bowls with lids as a bonus." 4 cool whip containers. It was a big hit.

I love the fry idea. I might have him do that this year if he needs another gift.
