Default Need cute ideas for ds's 7th birthday roller skating party

We have rented a private roller Rink for ds's 7th party. We can bring in our own food. Any ideas for lunch other than pizza? What about a cute favor? Thanks in advance for any and all ideas!

For our family party recently, my mom picked up some subs at Wal-mart for super cheap. If I remember correctly they were 2 foot subs for $5. They had the meat and cheese on them, then it came with condiments, tomatoes, pickles, etc. on the side. Sorry..I can't think of party favors right now.

I hate to tell you this , but I think most 7 year olds are going to be happiest with pizza...or maybe chicken nuggets? Is your party going to have any theme other than skating? Cake pops are a popular item right now..you can make them any color and individually bag them. i would just tart googling and checking on pinterest. If you are not making your own cake don't go to the grocery store! Come to Schmidt's pastry cottage and get a delicious baked from scratch cake..hat i might get to decorate )

Yes, I think you are right about the pizza.....all the parties we have been to this school year have served pizza. Ds doesn't like frosting, so we are going to have an ice cream cake. His colors are red, blue and orange, so I was thinking maybe some popcorn with those color m & m 's as a little snack. Also perhaps some marshmallow pops with his colors .

Any other ideas?

You can get some chocolates or cookie baskets, pastas, pineapple pastries along with pizza for children as they like all these stuff at any time.

I think as favors, glow sticks or something that lights up (flashing), if you have time look on oriental trading, if time is short-$ stores, $ spots in Target and Walmart have some cute items. Look for the Target $1 spot to go on clearance, it does it about every 6 weeks.

Pizza, ice cream, barbie dolls or model plane, fried chicken, roller skating...every kid likes a party like this!
