I would go to the DI! You are sure to find something awesome there! My dad once bought a bowling trophy and gave it to me as a WE when I moved into my 1st apartment. It was hilarious! This is a great thread! Keep those ideas coming!!!

My bosses' wife wrapped up his own slippers and when someone opened them he said that he had some like that and how much he enjoyed them. It was pretty funny when he realized they were his!

My DH works for an insurance company. One year the company sent out videos about some new insurance thing and he gave it back at his team white elephant party with a bag of popcorn.

When I was in high school we had a white elephant exchange after a group dinner before a formal dance - my date got somebody's old retainer. I still laugh thinking about the expression on his face!

Last year for our family party we did white elephant gifts. For one, I wrapped up 4 packages of Scott Tp (that I'd gotten free after coupons) and put a card that said, "Hope your Christmas isn't sh*tty" but just in case it is....

For another other one, I wrapped up 4 tubs of Cool Whip and put a note that said they were "red neck cereal bowls".

Another one was a package of paper plates, plastic knives, loaf of bread, jar of peanut butter, jar of jelly, wrapped inside a kitchen dish cloth with a tag that said it was a "Do it yourself peanut butter and Jelly kit".

Default DI is a great place to find gifts

My mother found a bra size 50 double H at the DI. It is a family favorite and every year gets passed back to someone at our family christmas party.

Also my brother signed and framed a picture of himself and wrapped it up as a WE gift. Pretty funny.

Good times.

Default Homemade Electric Toothbrush

Last year we took a toothbrush and drilled a hole into the end of it, then cut off a cheap extension cord and hot glued it into the hole... it was an "electric toothbrush".

Default I second the DI

Last year my friend went to the DI and found a pair of Mens Bright Orange Dress shoes in a size 13. They were hillarious. The other thing that keeps getting passed around at our party is a huge macrema (spelling?) wreath that is so ugly. They keep finding clever ways to disguise it.

My DH Made a dart gun. It was a toilet plunger for the dart and the rest was made out of cardboard.

We also wrapped up two cans of Beans put it in a basket and wrapped it up really nice with it labeled "Bubble Bath"
