Default Happy Halloween~ What's for Dinner?

I found some frozen bread and decided to make these for my BIG boys.

12 slices Wonder Bread
3 tablespoons softened butter
1 ¼ lb. ground beef or sausage
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped (I'm using green onions)
1 (10.75 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

¾ cup shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
dash or two of Tabasco sauce....turning up the heat!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter one side of each slice of Wonder Bread and press each slice butter-side down into the cups of a muffin tin. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, onion, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper until well blended. Fill each bread cup with the mixture. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the tops.

Bake for 30 minutes or until meat is cooked through.

Makes 12 servings.

Serve with steamed zucchini, green beans and carrots.
Cup of hot Apple Cider and fresh brownies with Ice Cream

The guys will be beggin for tons of those!!
always have HOPE!!!

For us it is a family tradition to have chili for dinner before going tick-or-treating. So for dinner it is chili with frito’s and grated cheese. Yum.

dd is a pirate, i found a cool recipe for shipwrecked stew! thought it would be cute!!

2 pounds ground beef
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
2 medium onions, chopped
5 large potatoes, cubed
2 (15.25 ounce) cans kidney beans, undrained

Crumble the ground beef into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir until browned. Drain grease, and transfer beef to a slow cooker. Mix in the tomato soups (undiluted), onions, potatoes, and beans.
Cover, and cook on the Low setting for 4 to 5 hours, until stew is thick and potatoes are tender.

i am going to add taco seasoning and serve with corn bread!
Working on a debt free 2013!

Sausage and Rice Casserole made with Lipton's Chicken Noodle Soup. It's my kid's favorite.
