Default Salt dough recipe?

Dose anyone have a favorite salt dough recipe?

The couple of times that i have worked with salt dough the end product looks very salty, but i have seen salt dough projects that are smother like clay would be, what am i doing wrong?

It has been years and years since i have tried anything with salt dough but i found a cutie necklaces idea i want to try and make for dd. So I thought i would give it a go.

Any salt dough experts out there?

I have a recipe that is nice and smooth when you are playing with it (nothing like the salt dough I remember), but once it dries, it's just not as pretty.

Have you tried the clay you can bake (Sculpey) that is sold at various craft stores? For a necklace, that is what I would buy.

Let me know if you want the recipe...
