Default Current Rebates

Rebates can expire from two weeks to way out there. What a rebate does is hold your sale price for you until you can get coupons. At places like Walgreens or Target wait til the end of the sale so you know that they are out of the item. (You then can get a raincheck so you can buy later when you have a coupon.

Do the above, unless they are listed as a register rewards item where you must use them within a certain time period to get the money.

Rebates can be free products or checks or products. They can be found on the product, at the register, in magazines, newspapers and many other places.

Rebates usually take up to 12 weeks to arrive.

Look for rebates:
-in magazines such as Ladies Home Journal and Good Housekeeping.
-newspaper with coupons
- internet or manufacturer's website
-product package
-tear pads on the shelf
- Sears and Target have a special area for rebates.

You will need to have your cash register receipt(s), the Proof of purchase and the official rebate form.
