DIY Photo Canvas Wall

Have you ever wanted some photos printed on canvas but you just can’t pay the price? I have a solution for you! I made these photo canvases of my kids and they turned out really well…I get compliments on them all the time. And guess how much I spent on the project: $6.35!

I found these 6×6 canvases at Michael’s dollar spot last year for 75% off…making them only .25 cents each! They were crazy colors so I painted the sides of them a neutral brown with acrylic paint. Then, after the paint dried, I mod podged these photos of my kids to the canvas, then also put some mod podge on the top to seal and give some texture.

That’s it!

I took the photos of my kids myself in our backyard, then changed the tone to sepia. I ordered the photos 6×6 size directly from scrapbookpictures.com.

This is an easy way to customize your decor and family photos. Keep a watch for various sizes of canvases at yard sales and thrift stores that you can make over into a masterpiece!

I’ve been scouring the thrift stores for canvasses, but they’re hard to find in matching sizes.
