5 Cheap Things You Could Do During Spring That Will Make You Feel Great

Typically, when we’re not chasing kids around, we’re cleaning the house, grocery shopping, doing laundry, etc… So, what are some really fun things you could do if you have some free time to yourself this spring and it won’t cost a whole lot of money? #1. Rearrange your bedroom.

Spring is the time when you usually have to do a bit of spring cleaning, so why not start with your bedroom? Sure, it can be a tough project, but if you have some extra time; why not? First of all, you can look through your old clothes and figure out what you don’t want anymore. With these old clothes, you could sell them to make a little bit of extra money or you could donate them for tax write-offs. After that, I’d suggest rearranging your room to give it fresh look.

#2. Enjoy a relaxing bath.

If you don’t feel like shelling out some cash for the spa, you can pretty much recreate the spa experience in your own home. First off, you’ll want to get some bath beads that will feel soothing and make the water smell great. Now, get yourself some bubble bath, candles and a nice book. Line the bathtub with candles, run yourself some warm water, dump your bubble bath in the water while it’s still running and then get out your book and relax.

#3. Start a garden.

I have my own garden and I often talk about the benefits of gardening in my posts. That’s because there are so many benefits to gardening and you’re missing out on them if you don’t have one. Gardens will do amazing things for not only your mental state, but your physical state, as well. Also, you’ll be able to eat some fresh fruit and veggies.

#4. Do some yoga.

Have you ever thought about trying yoga? If not, you should really consider it, because yoga can do amazing things for your mental state of mind and it can also tone you up. If you have a lot of stress in your life, I would highly suggest getting into yoga. Basically, you’ll only need a nice, quiet area and some comfortable clothing. If you don’t know anything about yoga, you can use YouTube to find some instructional videos.

#5. Read a book.

Do you have a book lying around that you haven’t had the chance to read? Maybe there’s a new book out that you’ve really wanted to read. Either way, since you have some free time, you should grab a book and get lost in the magical world of literature. Reading a book can be very soothing.
