With summer comes lighter, brighter colors and with fall we bring out the oranges and browns. Christmas I like to stick to whites and blues. Thrift Shops – Thrift shops are an amazing place to buy home decor items. You can also find really great deals on furniture at thrift stores. If you replace the furniture in your home, it looks like almost an entirely new place.

Your storage – Before you buy anything new to decorate your house together, be sure to look through your own storage and find out if you have any decorative pieces that you would like to use. Chances are, you have stuff stored away that you don’t even remember having. It’s like a brand new decor piece!
