Homemade Pre-treated Dust Cloths!

I’ve been making these pre-treated dust cloths for years and I LOVE them. They work so well – putting shine back into my furniture and keeping the dust away. Did you know that store bought spray cleaners and dust cloths can actually attract dust? These don’t.
.
These cloths are easy to treat, always ready when you need them and you can use them over and over. Once they are gross, just wash them and retreat them!
.
What you need: Flannel cut into the size you like for cleaning; Liquid laundry soap; Ammonia; Boiled Linseed Oil (one pint lasts for years!); Warm Water
.
What you do: Combine 1 Quart of warm water with 1 T laundry soap, 1 T ammonia and 2 T boiled linseed oil. Soak cloths in mixture. Wring out and hang cloths until completely dry. Store dry cloths in zip-top bag.
.
I think you will be pleased with these fabulous cloths! 🙂
