Several scenarios would work like this, although you could mix and match your own based on the coupons you have available:

Scenario #1:

Buy:

5 boxes of cereal or TLC trail mix bars ($2.88 x 5 = $14.40)

minus 5 $1.50 printable coupons ($1.50 x 5 = $7.50)

total = $14.40 – $7.50

total out of pocket = $6.90 + $5 gift card! (.38 each when you factor in the gift card)

Scenario #2:

Buy:

3 boxes waffles ($2.88 x 3 = $8.64)

and

2 frozen pizzas ($4.69 x 2 = $9.38)

minus 3 $1.50/1 waffle printables ($1.50 x 3 = $4.50)

minus 2 $1/1 Target Kashi pizza coupon ($1 x 2 = $2.00)

total = $18.02 – $6.50

total out of pocket = $11.52 + $5 gift card! ($1.31 each when you factor in the gift card)
