Making your own bug spray isn’t something that you’ve probably thought about before but we recommend that you start thinking about it. Not only can you save a ton of money but you can also ensure that your bug spray works. In fact, there are actually a few different household items that you can use in replacement of bug spray that tend to work very well. Interested in finding out what these items are? Vinegar
We’ve heard a lot of success stories about vinegar and how much it can help you get rid of pests such as ants, flies, and even mosquitoes. Use it around your home but avoid using it indoors as it could actually attract more bugs than you already have. For best results, try mixing it 75/25 (mostly vinegar) with warm water and using a spray bottle to apply it.
Soapy Water
If you’ve ever messed around with homemade bug sprays before, this is a remedy that you have probably already heard of. Take some of your favorite hand soap and mix it with warm water at a 50/50 mix. Then, you can apply it to areas around your home to rid them of bugs. The best use for this mixture is against fleas and it’s safe to apply directly to your pets. If you don’t have hand soap, try the same mixture but with some type of lotion.
Tea Tree Oil
Think of this one as kind of a universal bug spray. It works well on almost any type of bug that you could possibly think. All you need to do is take some tea tree oil and mix it with distilled water and vegetable oil. Mix these as evenly as possible and spray around your home with a good spray bottle. This should last for a few months but if you notice that the effects of it are starting to wear off, feel free to apply more anywhere around your home.
Apple Cider
Finally, the last homemade bug spray that we have for you is made of apple cider. This may seem a little contradictory to what you’ve been told in the past as apple cider has a sweetness to it (we’ve all been told that bugs love sugar). Mix this with some mint leaves and you’ll quickly see it work its magic. This mix can be applied inside as well as outside.

Cheap Upgrades For Your Computer
So, you have an older computer and instead of buying a new one, you’d like to upgrade your old one to bring it up to date. You want more speed, more performance, and most of all, more reliability. Well, we have just what you need as we’re going to run down a list of “must haves” when it comes to upgrading your computer. Now, are you ready to find out what they are? RAM
RAM, which stands for Random Access Memory, is one of the most important upgrades that you can make to a computer. It allows you to handle multiple applications at one time without lag and speeds up your computer drastically. It’s easy to install but you’ll want to make sure you research how much RAM your computer can hold and what kind. One good example of this is that your computer has 2 slots, with 2GB in one slot of DDR3 RAM. That means that you can add another 2GB (at least) of DDR3 RAM to boost your cpu’s speed.
Hard Drive
If you’re satisfied with the speed of your computer or you also want to increase the amount of storage space on your computer, it’s time to get a new hard drive. If you want to go all out then you could opt for a 1TB Hard Drive but 500GB will serve most people fairly well. A good hard drive will be under $100 and you always have the option of using an external hard drive which you can “plug and go.” In other words, these are convenient.
Processor
If you’re pretty computer suave and have no problem working with the internals of your computer, you can always install a new processor which will give your computer a huge speed boost. These range in price from $50 all the way up to hundreds of dollars for a core i7 processor which is extremely fast. Regardless of what type of processor you install, make sure everything else in your computer matches up from the power supply to the heat sink.
Fan
Finally, the last thing that we recommend considering when it comes to updating your computer is a new or additional fan. If you’re making additions to your computer, you’ll want to make sure that it cools properly. A better or second fan will ensure this. Best of all, these are usually under $20 a piece and it is a great addition to make to your computer.

It will take a little bit of money, time, and unless you are familiar with computers in general, a little bit of research.
