Ask any home owner and chances are, they would love to save money on home decor. Why? Well, who wouldn’t want to make their home look the way that they want but without spending a ton of money? Probably no one in their right mind, right? Well, we have some pretty cool news for you. We have a few cool tips that will get you on the right track towards decorating your home with some of the finest home decor out there without spending a ton of your hard earned money. Ready to find out what they are? Scroll down!
Buy Second Hand Home Decor
The first tip that we have for you when it comes to saving money on home decor is to buy your new room fillers second hand. Essentially, we’re just asking you to consider going to used furniture stores, thrift stores, and anywhere else where you can get great deals on furniture. If you do decide to buy stuff like couches at these places, we recommend that you avoid anything made of cloth unless you have extra money to have it shampooed.
Look For Promotions
The second tip we’re going to give you when it comes to saving money on home decor is to keep your eyes open for promotions. A lot of stores, whether it is Ikea or Big Lots, run some pretty good promotions from time to time which will save you a lot of money on your home decor needs. We’ve seen amazing couches for as little as $299, desk lamps for $10, and even vintage popcorn machines for about $75. These are all amazing deals on cool items that will make your home look fantastic. So, keep your eyes open for these deals!
Buy For The Future
Finally, the last tip that we have for you is to buy for the future. What we basically mean by this is that when building up your home decor inventory, you should plan ahead. Is what you’re buying going to become obsolete in 5 years? Why spend money on anything that is going to be useless in a few years? There really is no good reason to do this. So, what you should do is think about whether or not you’ll still be satisfied with your home decor in a few years or if it’ll be time to replace it again. If it’s something that you think you’ll be happy with for a long time to come, no amount of money is too much to spend on it.
So, now that you have a few helpful tips for buying home decor, you should be ready to venture back out into the real world and make it happen. You will spend money (that’s pretty inevitable) but how much you spend is completely up to you. Just make sure that you’re getting a good deal, the home decor looks great, and you’ll be 100% fine. Still need some additional advice? Drop us a line today and we’ll help you in any way that we can!
Toys
Apparel
So, you have a little extra money and aren’t quite sure what to do with it. Well, you’re not alone as there are literally millions of people out there right now who have the desire to invest money in something (in order to make even more money) but don’t know where to start. Fortunately, we have a few places that we think you should start looking into that may be perfect for investing money. Interested in seeing what they are? Scroll down!
Websites
Nowadays, most people don’t realize that even websites that don’t sell a product or offer a service still make money. That makes websites great for a potential investment. You could either buy well established sites (or sites that have promise) or build your own sites and then sell them. Either way, this is something that you should research if you want a good investment opportunity that isn’t typical or common. A good place to start is Flippa.
Real Estate
This one may be a little more expensive than investing in websites but the potential is pretty much unlimited. You also have the option of buying a home that is in pretty rough shape, fixing it up, and then flipping it for a profit. Although very risky depending on where you live, a lot of people still make their full time income by completing this process over and over. Be sure to check local regulations though as you may need a special license.
Stock
Now we get to the most common way to invest money: stock. This one requires a ton of research and if you’re serious about learning how to invest and making a significant piece of money, you’ll want to monitor the stocks you own like a hawk. Stocks change every single day and one day you could be poor and the next day rich. It’s a very risky game!
Local Business
Finally, the last place we’d like for you to look is right next door. Chances are, someone you know has a cool idea for a business they’d like to open but maybe they don’t have the cash on hand to do it. That’s where you come in! Invest in their business (or buy part of it) and not only will you potentially make money but you’re supporting both small business and the local economy. We’re also pretty sure that your friend will be thanking you forever.
But of course these are just starting points. There are tons of investing opportunities out there ranging from movies to products and everything in between. It’s up to you to pick what you want to invest in. After all, it’s your money so spend it wisely. Never jump into anything too quickly and have a backup plan in case your venture fails. Other than that, we wish you the best of success and hope that your investing adventure is a good and fun one!

Doing makeup on a budget is as much of an art as makeup itself. You see, almost every woman on the planet loves anything to do with makeup. In fact, more men are even getting into makeup whether it is for film, music, or just as an “out of the box” career. Thankfully, we put together a quick list of tips that will allow you to do makeup on a budget which means that you can do more of what you love and spend less of your hard earned money in the process. Ready to get started? Good! Because we are too! Let’s start.
Shop Accordingly
The first tip that we have for you when it comes to doing makeup on a budget is for you to shop accordingly. What we mean by this is that you should basically look for the best deals possible and make the most of it. Even if it means that you end up having to use a cheaper, lower quality makeup, you’ll only get better at what you do from it. If you can make magic with a cheap, low quality makeup then imagine what you could do with better makeup.
Take A Class
The next tip on our list is to take a class. We aren’t asking you to enroll in some expensive college that specializes in makeup but most any area has at least one class that you can take that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. If you have trouble finding a good class in your area, try asking some of your friends or searching via a quality search engine such as Google.
Practice With Groups
The third tip we have when it comes to doing makeup on a budget is to practice with groups of people. Put an ad out in your local newspaper or create a group on a social media platform such as Facebook to bring in new people. Working in a group will give you some very valuable feedback from others and you never know. You may learn something new.
Put In The Time
Finally, the last tip we have for you is this. Have you ever heard the phrase “practice makes perfect” or something similar? Well, that is 100% true. The more time that you put into something, the better you will get at it. Strive to practice for an hour or so per day and you’ll get the results that you’ve been looking for. Now, why wait? Go get started!
But before you go, there’s one more thing. Be sure to share this list with your friends and let your makeup buddies know that you’re looking to take your hobby or career a step further. It always helps to get others involved in your goals and you’ll be surprised to see how much more you can accomplish when you have the support of others. Now, for real this time, get out there and get started. We promise that you can definitely do it!
Have you ever wanted to learn how to play guitar but didn’t quite know where to start? Wonder no longer as we’ve put together a list of the best beginner guitars on a budget. What that basically means is that we’ll be giving you our opinion of the best bang for your buck when it comes to buying guitars. We won’t be giving you any off-brand guitars that you’ve never heard of but we will tell you which big companies have affordable lines of guitar. Ready to get started? Go ahead and scroll down so you check out this cool list!
Schecter
The first guitar on our list is one that we have actual experience with. In the world of music, $400 isn’t a lot of money and that’s about what you’d spend on a Schecter guitar that is built well enough to last you a lifetime. The particular model that we’ve had some experience with is the Schecter Damien Flying V with Floyd Rose (you know, the whammy bar). If you want a solid guitar that doesn’t cost a fortune, Schecter may be the way to go.
Fender
Next on our list is the classic guitar that is Fender. They make telecasters, stratocasters, and more. Regardless of what kind of Fender you get, you’ll have a quality guitar to play on. Best of all, you can get a good Fender for as little as $200 in some stores which is a steal if you ask us. However, we’ve noticed that Fender guitars are limited on what styles of music they can handle but that’s nothing a new set of pickups and a pedal can’t change.
Dean
While most people know of Dean guitars because of Dimebag Darrell (yeah, the guy from Pantera), they are pretty popular in the guitar community. They also make some very nice and affordable acoustic guitars that should only run you anywhere from $300 to $400 in most cases. While they aren’t for everyone, we do recommend giving Dean guitars a fair try.
Ovation
Finally, the last guitar to make our list is Ovation. We like the Ovation Celebrity acoustic guitars as, to us, they sound like a Taylor or Martin. In other words, these guitars sound like they cost $2,000+ but they only cost around $500 at the very most. We’ve seen them for as cheap as $300 or so but expect to spend around $400-$450 on these guitars. One last note on Ovation guitars though. They come in some very amazing and eye catching color schemes!
So, that wraps up our list on the best affordable guitar brands for beginners. Even if you aren’t a beginner, this list will serve you well. We definitely don’t think that you’ll run into any problems with any of these brands but we do recommend checking out each brand if you have the time. Then, you can make an educated decision as to which guitar is best for you. Now, what are you waiting for? Let’s get out there and get a new, affordable guitar!
