4 Affordable Vacation Spots

beach

So, you’re ready to go on vacation but don’t know where to go? Well, we’re going to save you the trouble of getting on Expedia.com and trying to plan your next vacation. We have a list of 4 Affordable Vacation Spots and you can check it out by simply scrolling down. We also made an extra effort to ensure that we cover everyone with this list. In other words, you’d be hard pressed to check out this list and not find the perfect vacation to go on.

Ready to take a look? If so, so scroll down and start planning your dream vacation!

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a premier destination and one of the most popular vacations on the planet. Even if you aren’t 18 and can’t gamble, there’s always something to do in Las Vegas. From checking out the location of the popular TV show “Pawn Stars” to going to the very top of the Stratosphere Tower, Las Vegas is an awesome vacation that is about $400 a person.

Southwest Vacations has some great deals for Vegas!

Myrtle Beach

If you live on the east coast and Las Vegas is a little too far for your liking, you always have the option of going to Myrtle Beach. There’s a ton to do, the water is pretty calm (and a lot warmer than the water on the west coast), and it’s totally affordable. Running short on funds? Just sleep on the beach and get the full blown experience. Yes, we’re dead serious!

Panama City

Ah, yes. What list of vacation spots would be complete without mentioning Florida? You probably didn’t expect to see Panama City though, did you? Of course not! But you should definitely consider a weekend retreat here as it’s cheap, there’s plenty of water, the sun is usually shining, and you don’t have to go too far down into Florida. How cool is that, right?

Tunica

We’re willing to bet that most of you haven’t heard of this one. Tunica is in Mississippi and basically consists of 5 or 6 casinos including the Gold Strike which we absolutely love. It’s only about 30 minutes from Memphis (home to the Grizzlies and the Memphis Zoo). Rooms here only run you about $50 per night and the casinos are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Wanna have a drink or too? You’re in luck! Those are also 24 hours a day as well!

Anyways, these are just some of our favorite vacation spots that are both fun and affordable. If you do end up taking one of these vacations in the near future, be sure to swing back by the site and let us know if you enjoyed it. After all, it’s all about making the reader happy and that’s you! On a more serious note though, all of these vacations are fun but we hope you play it safe and go with a group of people. As with any big city or tourist attraction, it’s better to be safe and not sorry. Most of all, have a blast and remember us!

Decorating Your Home On A Budget

interior design

Okay, so you’re probably not going to be able to make your home look like the one found in the picture above on a tight budget. However, with the right mindset and a little creativity, you can still make your home look pretty darn good without spending a ton of money. We have listed a few ways of doing this below that will not only save you some money but will literally enable you to decorate any room in your home on a tight budget.

Now, we know you’re eager to get started so no more delays. Scroll down and enjoy!

Shop At Thrift Stores

There’s no shame whatsoever in decorating your home with items found in thrift stores whether they are chains like Goodwill or local church based thrift shops. We know a ton of people who have walked in thrift shops and left with designer bags, valuable China sets, and much more. Why can’t you do the same thing when it comes to decorations? Head to the back of any Goodwill and you’ll find a large selection of pictures. Go down some of the aisles and you’ll find nick knacks and who knows what else. The possibilities are endless.

Get Up Early and Go Yard Sailing

Okay, so we don’t literally want you to try to sail across your yard but you get the idea. Yard sales are a great place to find items to decorate your home with. Just because one person has no use for an item anymore doesn’t mean that you can’t use it. This may require a little work and some driving around town but you never know what you’ll find doing this.

Ask Your Friends And Family

This is a pretty straight forward method of finding decorations but it works out sometimes. Call up people you know and ask them if they have any kind of decorations piled up that they’d like to get rid of. Let them know that you’d be more than happy to take it off their hands and you’ll even come pick it up. You’ll be surprised as to how many give you a “yes.”

Run An Advertisement

This one may cost you a little bit of money if you do it in the local newspaper but you can always post an ad in social media groups or on local classifieds such as Craigslist. Let people know exactly what you’re looking for and see if you get any responses. All of the items may not be free but you certainly won’t have to pay outrageous prices for them. We promise!

These are just a few of the ways that you can decorate your home on a budget and we know there are literally hundreds of ways on top of these methods to decorate your home. If none of these methods work for you, you can always try going to discount outlets such as Kohl’s. They tend to have some really flash decorations at fair prices. Now, why wait?

Let’s get started decorating your home and saving money in the process!

4 Cheaper Alternatives To Cigarettes

1304984412_img2

Quitting smoking is something that most people, especially stay at home mothers, cringe at the thought of. How in the world are you possibly going to make it through the day without your nicotine fix? Well, we have a solution for you. It may not be the one that you are in search of though as we aren’t going to recommend expensive nicotine patches or gum. In fact, we have something even better for you. What’s that you ask? Well, we have some cheaper alternatives to cigarettes that you’ve probably never thought about before.

If that sounds like something that you’d be interested in, scroll down and take a look!

Sugar Free Candy

The only reason that we recommend sugar free candy is so you don’t crush your body with an overload of sugar. In other words, we don’t recommend eating 3 or 4 bags of Jolly Ranchers a day. Instead, try something like Sugar Free Werther’s Originals. Not only are they absolutely delicious but they’ll help you keep your mind off of those pesky cigarettes.

Chewing Gum

Okay, so this is kind of like candy but in a way, it’s not. This will give you more of a chewing motion and will actually last you longer per piece than sugar free candy will. Of course, this is assuming that you aren’t one of those people that need flavor all the time because as we all know, chewing gum tends to run out of flavor pretty fast. Some of our favorites include Big Red, Orbit, and Big League Chew (grape flavor). So, try them all!

Exercise

Most gym memberships will run you around $30 a month. That’s about half the price of a carton of cigarettes which only lasts most people for about 10 days (if that). Don’t even want to spend that much? Walking is free and unless you live in Alaska, you have no excuse not to walk for 20-30 minutes a day. It’ll make you feel better, help keep your mind off of cigarettes, and make quitting smoking a more enjoyable experience for you in the long run.

Tooth Picks

Yes, you read that right. We said “tooth picks.” They’re cheap and they emulate the whole “in your mouth” feeling that you get from a cigarette. Keep one handy at all times and when you get the urge to smoke a cigarette, pop one in! You can chew on it, move it around in your mouth, or whatever you need to do. Worried about not having a cigarette after meals? Most food establishments give tooth picks away for free. Yes, this works!

So, what are you going to do? Will you continue to let cigarettes suck the money right out of your pocket or give one of these cheaper alternatives to cigarettes a try? Quitting smoking is never going to be easy (unless you have killer focus) but these alternatives will prove to be very helpful in your effort to quit smoking. If one fails, simply move on to another one. Chances are, you’ll find that one of these will become your new best friend.

PYP Daily Deal Roundup

Here are some of the deals, coupons, and freebies that we’ve posted about so far today!

The Best Cheap Clothing Brands

brands

Do you see the image above? Okay, great! Chances are, you notice one thing about all the brands in the image above. They are all recognizable brands and are pretty popular at that. However, they have absolutely nothing to do with the information that we are about to share with you. You see, we’re going to give you a few brands of clothing and apparel that are far more affordable than the ones you see above. Scared? Well, you shouldn’t be as the brands we are going to list are also quality. This means that you won’t have to spend an arm and a leg to obtain quality clothing. How cool is that? It’s pretty cool if you ask us!

Now, are you ready to see what brands made the cut? If so, scroll down and enjoy the list!

Champion

The first brand on our list of cheap clothing brands is known for their sport oriented apparel as well as their shoes. We are actually very fond of their shoes as they’re pretty cheap (usually under $30 a pair), comfortable, and they look great. If you need a good pair of running shoes but are on a budget, Champion is almost always the route you should take.

Target

Okay, this one is pretty broad but it’s the truth. Target, unlike Kmart or Walmart, is very well known for having a good fashion sense. While they sell multiple brands, almost all of their clothing is top notch quality. Best of all, it won’t stand out like a sore thumb. With most retail stores, you can tell where the clothing came from. The same cannot be said about Target. Chances are, people will think you were shopping somewhere like GAP.

AND 1

Just like Champion, AND 1 is known for their workout apparel. More specifically, they are known for producing quality basketball shorts which will usually run you under $10 a pair. If you’re a stay at home mom and have a husband or boyfriend that likes to hit the gym, take note of this brand. For the price of a tank of gas, you can get them enough shorts to last them all year long. Best of all, you can find them conveniently at your local Walmart.

Wet Seal

If you have a shopping mall in your area, you probably have a Wet Seal store. There clothes are bit more pricey than the brands listed above but not by much. You can get a designer style bikini for around $15 and they almost always have Buy 1, Get 1 50$ off sales. This is awesome for those of you that prefer to shop at malls versus actual retail locations.

Rue 21

It seems like Rue 21 stores are popping up all over the place nowadays and for good reason. There clothes are probably the most stylish on this list and are more than cheap. They’re a bargain! You’d be hard pressed to walk into any Rue 21 location and not leave with a bag full of clothes. They also have amazing sales each and every month that you can’t miss!

These are just some of the amazing cheap clothing brands that are out there. We’re pretty sure there are at least a dozen more but these are the ones that stand out to us the most. Check them out, see what you think, and you’ll probably be amazed at the good deals!
