Here is a great question one of our members posted “For those of you who have shopped online for BF, how does it work. For instance…I want to get something at Bestbuy. Do I get on their website at 9:50 mountain time( just about midnight eastern), and put the items I want in my shopping cart and wait till it hits 10:00…or does a special screen appear with the items on the ad, or do I keep hitting refresh until it shows the items I want at BF prices?? Any pointers would be great! TIA” And then the answer given by Jodi: “Wish I could give you guys a clear answer to all your questions, but it really just depends on which retailer. We are trying to post as much as we can with the timeframes, but many times they don’t give us that information. Can’t really go off of last year either because many retailers are opening earlier this year. If you know of a certain place you want to order from I would definitely get an account set up and make sure you know your password, etc and get your payment information saved so that part of the process doesn’t slow you down. As far as shipping it to varies. “

Recipe: Not Your Mama’s Green Bean Casserole
I sure you are all familiar with the traditional green bean casserole at this time of year. I love it…but my husband hates it. A few years ago my sister-in-law introduced me to this recipe…she called it “Not Your Mama’s Green Bean Casserole.” It has no condensed soup. It is VERY good. I like it better than the original green bean casserole!
Not Your Mamma’s Green Bean Casserole
5 cans Fancy cut/ French cut beans
8oz cream cheese
8oz sour cream
1 Pkg Uncle Dan’s Southern Ranch mix
1 lb shredded Swiss cheese
corn flakes
Mix 5 cans green beans (drained) with ranch mix, sour cream, cream cheese, and half of shredded cheese until smooth. Spread in glass 9X13 baking pan, top with rest of shredded cheese, and then top with crushed corn flakes.
I put all the cheeses, creams and ranch mix in the blender first- A lot easier! Then mixed in the beans.
Bake 350 until bubbly and corn flakes start to brown. (Approximately 30-40 min.)
