Yes…you read the title correctly. It know it sounds weird…but IT WORKS!

Earlier this year I blogged about the many different uses for fabric softener sheets. If you haven’t read it, check out some of the ideas. And add this new idea to the list!

I had heard that you could clean the soap scum off your shower doors really easily with the dryer sheets. I was skeptical, but I gave it a try last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised! It worked better than I thought it would. As I started to scrub (I added a bit of water first) the dryer sheet became suddsy and the soap scum came off with ease.

As you can see from the photo there is quite a difference! I was amazed at how clean the sheets got my shower doors. On the spots where there was more soap scum buildup, I had to rub a bit more but it was still easier than any other cleaning method I have used.

And I didn’t even use a new dryer sheet! It has been used once int he dryer already. Pinch those pennies!
