Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission BREAKOUT! is one of the most anticipated attractions for next year. The new ride will be housed in the old Hollywood Tower Hotel, where The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is currently located. This new attraction is set to open in summer of 2017 along with the release of the new movie, Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The Main Street Electrical Parade will be returning to Disneyland for a limited-time engagement. The parade originally began in Disneyland in 1972 and spent some time in Disney’s California Adventure before moving to Disney World. The nostalgic parade returns on January 20th and will run nightly through June 18th, 2017.

Fantasmic! will also be returning to Frontierland in the summer of 2017. This nighttime spectacular took a hiatus to make room for the upcoming Star Wars Land, but will be ready to wow your family in just a few months.

Rivers of America was also temporarily closed for Star Wars Land construction, but will be re-opening the summer of 2017. This means everything Rivers of America will be back – Sailing Ship Columbia, Mark Twain Riverboat, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes and Tom Sawyer’s Island will all be available for your family to explore this coming summer.

Seasonal events are also planned for 2017, specifically Halloween Time and the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Halloween Time will begin mid-September and run through October 31st, making it the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with some ghoulish fun! The Holidays at Disneyland include seasonal décor, rides and entertainment sure to amaze your family next winter. Expect to see the festivities from mid-November through the first week of January.
