The clock struck 12 and the scramble to preorder iPhone 7 devices began today! Well, actually, the clock struck 12:01 am, but close enough, right? Impatient consumers were officially able to preorder the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus on Friday, September 9 at 12:01 a.m Pacific time.
You can preorder iPhone 7 devices quickly and easily from your current carrier, or make the switch to a new carrier. Instead of plunking down big bucks right up front, most cell carriers also offer installment plans, which allow you to make monthly payments on your new phone until it’s paid off. Depending on the carrier you choose, you might also be able to trade in your old device to lower your overall cost.
So, what does each of the four major carriers have to offer this year? Let’s take a look…
If you’re a Verizon Wireless customer, or want to be, head over to VerizonWireless.com to preorder a new iPhone. New and existing customers can preorder an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and take advantage of easy monthly payments.
Trade in an old device, and get an even better deal on your iPhone 7 preorder. Just tell them about the device you’re planning to trade in to find out how much it’s worth. Trade in older select iPhone models, and you could even get a free iPhone 7! You will have to shell out the $649.99 for the phone up front, but will receive a $650.00 credit over the course of 24 months. Credits will start being applied 2 – 3 billing cycles into your contract and end when the balance is paid or the line is cancelled.
Sprint customers can also take advantage of monthly payments when they preorder iPhone 7 devices. However, unlike Verizon’s $0.00 down deal, you may need to shell out a down payment, depending on which model you choose. But, the monthly payments for your new device will be lower than Verizon’s. Plus, get a free memory upgrade when you preorder a 256GB model for the same final cost as the 128GB model.
Sprint’s iPhone Forever plan is a great option for die hard iPhone fans. This special upgrade program allows you to get a new iPhone every year. You technically aren’t buying the devices, but leasing them. Once you’ve made enough payments on the device, you can upgrade to the newest iPhone available. If you’re looking for a new 256GB iPhone 7 with $0.00 down on Sprint, this is a great option.
Qualified customers can also get a free iPhone 7 (32GB) with an eligible trade-in. You’ll have to pay for the device up front, then receive a $27.09 monthly service credit for 24 months. This offer is available with a new line activation or eligible upgrade.
AT&T offers even lower monthly payments when you preorder the iPhone 7 by extending the installment plan to 30 months with the AT&T Next plan. The AT&T Next plan allows you to upgrade every two years after 80% of the retail price of the device is paid. Like Verizon wireless, qualifying customers will have to pay nothing down with their iPhone 7 preorder.
AT&T also offers the AT&T Next Every Year Plan, which allows you to upgrade every year when 50% of the retail price is paid. This means slightly higher monthly payments, but you get a brand new device every year.

AT&T customers can also bundle an iPad Mini 2 with their iPhone preorder and get a pretty great deal. At select locations, while supplies last, get any iPhone on AT&T Next and get a 16GB iPad Mini 2 for only $49.99 or a 32GB iPad Mini 2 for only $99.99. This deal requires a 2-year service agreement with service on both devices.
T-Mobile boasts America’s fastest 4G LTE network, and they’re also offering some nice options for anyone looking to preorder iPhone 7 devices. Like the other three major carriers, T-Mobile has monthly installment plans for iPhone 7 phones with $0.00 down, but iPhones with larger storage capacity will require a down payment.
If you have an iPhone 6, you could even get a free iPhone 7. To get this deal, preorder an iPhone 7 on an Equipment Installment Plan (EIP). Once you start making your monthly payments, you will receive bill credits for 24 months until the device has been paid off. Or, get an iPhone 7 Plus for only $120 with an Equipment Installment Plan.
As expected, Apple announced the new iPhone 7 yesterday. Although it is very similar to the iPhone 6, hard core Apple fans are sure to be happy with many of the iPhone 7 upgrades!
The iPhone 7 may have been the show stealer and most anticipated announcement yesterday, but that doesn’t mean it was the only new device launched. Apple also announced a few other new gadgets and devices as well…
One of the most buzzworthy pieces of news lately has been the missing headphone jack on the new iPhone 7. Instead of dealing with messy wires, iPhone 7 users will be forced to go wireless to connect their audio. Bluetooth is always an option, of course, but Apple has also released AirPods, which are wireless earbuds. They’re like the wireless version of the EarPods. AirPods reportedly allow for up to 5 hours of listening per charge, but the case they come in also charges them back up, allowing for more than 24 hours of battery life, and just 15 minutes of charging equals 3 hours of battery life. The AirPods won’t be available until October and will set iPhone 7 users back $159.
The new Apple Watch Series 2 has a lot going for it when compared to the original Apple Watch! First and foremost, is is water-resistant down to 50 meters. That means users can swim with it on and track their progress. The Apple Watch 2 has a better processor and is also said to be faster with a brighter display. Finally, the new Apple watch also has a built-in GPS chip. Consumers can pre-order the second generation Apple Watch on September 9th for a mere $369.
If the plain old Apple Watch 2 isn’t sporty enough, consumers also have the option of going for the Apple Watch Nike+. This is a sportier version of the popular smartwatch, and it’s geared toward runners. In addition to looking just a bit cooler, the Apple Watch Nike+ will also integrate features from Nike’s popular Nike+ app. Slated to come out this October, this version of the Apple watch is also $369.
Some consumers were anxiously awaiting news on some of Apple’s other products, including the iPad, Mac commputers, Apple TV, and Apple’s Home app. Unfortunately, these were either unmentioned or quickly glossed over during yesterday’s event. However, there is some speculation that we may hear news on these in October. Only time will tell.
Have you been itching to get your hands on a brand new iPhone 7? It looks like the best deal right now is through T-Mobile!
The newest Apple phone was just launched yesterday, but T-Mobile is already offering new and existing customers a FREE 32 GB iPhone 7 when they trade in their iPhone 6, 6s, 6 Plus or 6s Plus! You can also grab the 128 GB iPhone 7 for $100, the 256 GB iPhone 7 for $200, or the 32 GB iPhone 7 Plus for $120 with trade-in.

After 24 months, T-Mobile says customers will have paid nothing and received a free iPhone 7. Customers can walk away at any time by either paying their outstanding phone balance or turning in their iPhone 7.
